Nominations are being invited for the Professor Sir Richard Brook Prize for the Best Ceramics or Engineering PhD in the UK.

The prize was set up by CASC [Centre for Advanced Structural Ceramics], Imperial College London, in 2010.

PhD supervisors can nominate students that obtained their degree in 2018. They should provide the following information:

•Copy of the award certificate.

•Copy of any resulting publication or presentation.

•Abstract of the nominee's thesis.

•Short supporting statement.

As in previous editions, the recipient of the prize will be decided by the CASC’s industrial consortium. Former winners include students from Brunel University, Imperial College, Leeds University and the University of Manchester.
