About 80 people attended a MAPP Hub Industry Briefing Event that was held online on Wednesday 15th July.  

The purpose of the event was to share progress on MAPP’s research over the past 12 months, update on our new research programme, take feedback from partners on the research programme and develop further collaborations.

The agenda included:

  • Presentations from MAPP investigators across a wide range of advanced powder processes - solid state processes, additive manufacturing and future manufacturing platforms - and our work on in-situ processes modelling, and optimisation and control.
  • An overview of our recently revised research programme for the second phase of the Hub.
  • A feedback session to help the Hub shape future events and engagement with partners.
