Dr. Yunhui Chen is a Postdoctoral Research Associate (University College London) in Professor Peter Lee’s group based at the Research Complex at Harwell. She obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering (University of Queensland, Australia, 2015). Before joining MAPP, she obtained UQ Postdoctoral Fellowship and The Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Awards. She is specialized in Advanced Manufacturing techniques and Powder Metallurgy for Biomedical applications. She is now working on in-situ synchrotron X-ray characterisation of additive manufacturing processes. Her principal fields of interest is blown powder additive manufacturing solidification mechanism.
