Sam is a Post Doctoral Research Associate in Professor Peter Lee’s group based at the Research Complex at Harwell. He is working on in-situ synchrotron X-ray characterisation of powder and additive manufacturing processes. His principal fields of interest are X-ray diffraction elucidating the processes phase transformations and residual strains in additive manufactured components.
