Ryan is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, having also obtained his PhD and Masters in Engineering from the same department. His research as a member of the MAPP hub is focused on machine and material development for polymer powder bed fusion processes (primarily High Speed Sintering and Laser Sintering), in addition to the development of novel powder bed fusion processes and techniques.
