Jabbar is a research fellow with interdisciplinary background in Chemistry and Engineering. Since 2003 he has been working on a wide range of projects related to catalysis, powder characterisations, powder flow, crude oil and its derivatives, polymerisation and renewable energy. His exclusive expertise is in the design of multifunctional materials (PSD from nm to mm), surface functionalisation of particles based on their applications and powder characterisations (analytical, single and bulk). His role in the MAPP team at Leeds is to perform full characterisation of powders with diverse natures arising from different manufacturing routes to understand the influence of powder properties on their performance specifically during delivery for 3D printing application.
