School Children, Pianos, Chicken Nuggets and Breaking a World Record! with Dr Candice Majewski

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, universities around the UK have been working with local school children to help them become inventors.

In August 2020 MAPP Investigator Dr Candice Majewski, Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, will try to break the world record for the most people playing a single piano at the same time. The children have been challenged to design mechanical contraptions that allow 88 people to play a new composition on a single piano.
